Week 5

Goal of week 5: finish the CAD drawing and the physical model of the CN tower

Group Members Jobs:

- Renee Pisano            - Wrote the blog 

- Cody Johnson           - Finished 3D rendering of the CN tower on CAD

- Paulina Iniewicz        - Continued working on the physical model of the tower

- Carly Alessandro       -  Updated the Project Libre and aided with the construction of the tower

Challenges: 

        The challenges we faced this week were converting the CAD rendering into visual analysis. After testing we found that using wire and clay would not be the most beneficial and structural way to make the model. This would not work because we would need more wire and invest more time than we can. 

Outcomes of this week:

         We figured out how to convert CAD into visual analysis the only issue we have now is the dimensions which we are going to work on through this week. Carly began working on the dimensions for the foundation and structure in CAD. In terms of the physical model we decided that using styrofoam and foam board would be more effective in the structure versus the clay and wire.
