Week 7

Goal of week 7: Complete the base of the physical model, structural analysis on Autodesk Inventor and the 70% report due in class of week 7.

Challenges:

           The major challenges we faced this week was scaling and constructing the physical model. Carly, Renee and Pulina are still in the process of finding the dimensions of the base, tower plus the needle. Once those are determined they can properly scale the model accordingly. Aside from that, Carly and Cody had minor issues downloading AutoDesk Inventor, however, they finally got it to download allowing them to begin the structural analysis of the CAD model. 

Outcomes of This Week: 

            After this week we will have determined the dimensions of the foundation, shaft plus the antenna component of the model. We have started the carving of the foam block for the shaft and bough wood for the foundation and the antenna. With that being said Paulina and Renee are working on the model so it will be done by the end of this week. Carly and Cody are working hard  on the visual analysis. It is still in progress with that but are looking at it being done by the end of this week.
